HELP OUR TROOPS by clicking here

Do you know this member of our lodge? He is 2nd. Lt. Stephan Gonzalez and he is a member of the 260th Military Intelligence Unit currently serving in Iraq. He is also the son of our member Lina Turnes-Lopez and is the step son of our Esteemed Loyal Knight, and Lina's husband, Jack Lopez. Stephan was recently called up, along with the rest of his unit, to engage the enemies of freedom in Iraq and support the efforts of other US and coalition troops there. The 260th MI Battalion Commander is Lt. Col. Arthur Vandesande. Our lodge has adopted this unit for their tour of duty and we will support them in any way we can. The members of the unit will also be checking into the website from time to time and we'll be posting messages and items of interest from them. We all are united in wishing them Godspeed in the completion of their mission and the safe return home of all the members of the unit and of all our troops.

 The 260th TEB newsletter

2nd Lt Stephan Gonzalez presents Lt Col Aurthur C. Vandesande, commander or the 260th TEB, with their official letter of adoption written by Exalted Ruler Jeff Muehlfeld. The Miami Elks lodge is helping to support our troops in Iraq.
